KPS is a gathering place for shutterbugs from all along the Garden Route. We are a group of keen photographers - from absolute beginners to very experienced members - who get together to share our images and learn from each other, as well as experts in the field.  We host monthly club nights, as well as ad hoc workshops, outings and other photography events for our members.

KPS follows the ranking system of the PSSA (Photographic Society of South Africa), and new members start with a 1-Star ranking. By submitting images and earning points, members move up through the ranks as their skill levels develop. Images are submitted via Photovault. At our monthly club nights, the images are screened and judged, usually by one external and two internal judges. Members can also accrue points by entering national and international salons (just a fancy word for competitions hosted by other clubs).

KPS hosts learning sessions to teach new members how to use Photovault to submit their entries. Most members use either Photoshop or Lightroom to post-process their photographs, and are always willing to give newbies a hand.
